Stacey Tessier
Physiotherapist
Stacey graduated from the University of Saskatchewan in 2000 and has been practicing in Calgary since 2003. She is a certified Gunn IMS and acupuncture provider, certified in vestibular rehabilitation and spinal manipulation and holds a Diploma in Advanced Manual Therapy. She treats a wide variety of patients of all ages and various interests. She believes in a hands-on approach and her treatments focus on functional outcomes and goals. Outside the clinic she spends her time with her family golfing, running, coaching fastball, and skiing. Stacey and her family are also involved in the medical humanitarian organization Healing Hands that provides education to therapists in developing countries.
Darcy Doyle

Darcy graduated from the University of the Fraser Valley with a Bachelor of Kinesiology in 2002 and received his Master of Science in Physiotherapy from the University of Alberta in 2006. In 2009, he received his Fellowship with the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT) designation and has a Diploma of Advanced Orthopaedic Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy. Darcy has also earned his certification in Gunn Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS) through the Institute for the Study and Treatment of Pain (iStop) and his Acupuncture certification through the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute. Darcy has completed his Diagnostic Imaging certification and is able to order X-ray, MRI and Ultrasounds. Darcy completed his transitional Doctorate in Physical Therapy (D.P.T.) in October of 2016. Darcy is actively involved in mentoring students who are completing extensive postgraduate education in the area of Orthopaedic manual therapy. Darcy has held the position of Vice President, President and Past President of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (CAMPT), which is a member organization responsible for monitoring, advanced orthopaedic education training programs in Canada to ensure they meet the standards of the International Federation of Orthopaedic Manipulative Physiotherapists (IFOMPT). Darcy is also Clinical Lecturer with the Collaborative for Scholarship in Clinical Education. His advanced training allows him to treat a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, although he has a special interest in spinal related injuries. In clinical practice, his treatment philosophy includes using a combination of manual therapy and needling to restore joint mechanics, followed by muscle retraining and motor control strategies to correct movement dysfunctions.

Jared graduated from the University of the Calgary with a Bachelor of Kinesiology and Certificate in Athletic Therapy in 2003 and received his Master of Science in Physiotherapy from the University of Alberta in 2006. In 2011, he received his Fellowship with the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT) designation. In addition, Jared has also received his certification in intramuscular stimulation (GunnIMS) and certification in Acupuncture from the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute. Jared also has completed his Diagnostic Imaging certification and is now able to order X-ray, MRI and Ultrasounds. Jared is director of our South Fish Creek location.
John Ward
John Ward
Physiotherapist
John graduated from the University of Ulster in Northern Ireland in 1994. He started his career in Lethbridge, Alberta. He then spent time working in the United States and South East Asia before coming to Calgary. John was the owner of Myo Sport physiotherapy for 6 years before joining the team at Panther Sports Medicine. He works with athletes of all levels, injured workers and those involved in motor vehicle accidents. He has extensive knowledge of orthopedic, postural and sport related injuries. He draws from a range of physiotherapy techniques such as McKenzie techniques, acupuncture/dry needling, manual therapy techniques and exercise prescription. Johns’ areas of special interest are treatment of knee and shoulder problems.

Ryan graduated in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Saskatchewan. In 1999 he moved to Calgary to work in private practice, then opened McKenzie Towne Physical Therapy in 2001. In 2004, Ryan received his certification in Gunn IMS from Institute for the Study and Treatment of Pain. In 2005, he joined Panther Sports Medicine and became the Clinic Director of their McKenzie Towne location. His areas of interest are primarily in treating orthopaedic, spinal, and sport-related injuries. He has completed several post-graduate manual therapy courses through the Orthopaedic Division. He is on the Needling and Spinal Manipulation rosters of the College of Physical Therapists of Alberta and has also completed his Diagnostic Imaging certification. Ryan is now the Clinic Director of our Walden location.
