As we live In Mckenzie Towne we knee about Panther and decided to see what they could do to help us out. We had also been told by many people before going oh it's just growing pains it will go away. We met up with Michael Azzopardi and he went right to work on my son checking muscles to stance to how he would throw a rock in curling. He knew right away some of the issues of not using all the muscles properly and needing to readjust how you use the lower body. We started out going twice a week with homework of stretches to be done each day numerous times. Each visit was a new thing to do and work on and each time the pain was less and less. After awhile we were told to show up just once a week and then once in 2 weeks. Our last visit my son told him no more pain and we were discharged. All this was completed within roughly two months. I like the fact that they didn't say oh you should keep coming to see me, they were good that once the paid was gone they left us with all the stretches to stay on the right path and said if ever an issue to call or stop by and they would help out. So the whole experience with the team that works at this location was great and Michael was very good to deal with. So if your son/daughter loves sports and is having pain don't go with the "It's just Growing Pains" excuse, bring them here and you will keep them enjoying their favorite sports or activities. I've seen Darcy at least 6 times for various injuries since 2004. He has fixed me up every single time, without fail. The entrance to the office is located immediately next to the entrance of the YMCA building, making it very convenient to get to. I've been seeing Matt weekly-ish for the last 6 months post knee ACL surgery (12ish month recovery expected in total), and he has supported me from the very beginning when I was still on crutches and unable to straighten or bend my leg, to my first jog last week. Matt is super knowledgeable about the ACL recovery progression, and has been able to guide me through week by week, setting the exercices to my stage of recovery while aiming me towards the goal of running. He's also just a great human and fun to chat to.

He's had to get creative as the gym equipment available in the clinic is unfortunately pretty limited, and the weights in particular have been insufficient for my needs for a while, so I'll likely be moving on soon. However I'd recommend Matt to anyone looking for an excellent physio.

The ladies at the front desk (Carissa and Maria?) are also great. Always friendly and know my name. read less

Mobility, ease of movement, pain free, increase in quality of life and regaining a positive outlook on healing and life after injury are just some of the strong attributes this team have guided me through with my own injuries.

My first contact with the clinic was on the phone with the lovely Emily. Emily is very kind, professional and always accommodating. She answered all of my questions and based on what I told her about my MVA she recommended who I should see. I am very fortunate to be under the care of the best physiotherapists in South Calgary. It was sad to see Dominique leave to move to a new city for wonderful new opportunities (I wish her the very best), but Josh has been amazing at picking up right where she left off and I feel very well taken care of and in great hands. Josh is very knowledgeable, professional, confident, kind hearted, soft spoken and eager to assess and administer the best care and I get positive results. Cody is always friendly, upbeat, positive and ready to assist with warm pads and compresses (I can tell Cody has a great smile under that mask!). I wish I could see Brittney every week for massage! She is amazing, very knowledgeable and skilled, caring, warm and friendly and again I always see positive results after I see her. I found that utilizing massage therapy with physiotherapy has made a tremendous impact on my healing and this is due to the overlapping comprehensive care from all therapists.

Having knowledge and skill are necessary qualities for any clinic but what sets Seton Panther Sports Medicine apart are the people working at this state of the art amazing facility. We were directed to Travis Gaudet at Panther Physio by a friend, whose daughter dealt with the same injury and recovery.

From Day #1, Travis made sure my daughter understood exactly what had happened, what the reconstruction looked like and what the goal was for recovery. He stressed the importance of being diligent with exercises and not pushing too hard in the beginning. Travis instilled confidence in my daughter to work through the stiffness in her knee and she began to see results quickly.

Throughout the course of rehabilitation, Travis was in contact with my daughter’s strength trainer, as well as her surgeon, and together they created an individualized program for us to follow. This communication was invaluable, as we knew everyone had the same goals and could adjust her exercises over the course of recovery.

Travis is so clearly committed to his clients and provides a level of care that we have not found anywhere else. I have recommended him to many people since my daughter started her rehabilitation and I will continue to do so.

On a side note, after just over a year post-surgery, my daughter is back playing the sports she loves and is stronger than ever. read less

The head physio therapist Darcy Doyle is always the first person I recommend when someone is needing treatment. I’ve been seeing Darcy Doyle for 4 years now. When he moved to the Seton location, I knew I was going to continue seeing him there. Darcy is highly educated in what he does and definitely the best physio therapist I’ve ever gone to see. Him and his staff build a relationship with every one of their clients and when you go for treatment it doesn’t feel like a task it feel like going to see your second family, with the extra bonus of getting significant pain relief. Darcy has always ensured that every one of his clients receives the best care, and will do everything in his power to ensure all his clients receive all the help they need. First experience ever with physiotherapy/rehab. Was fortunate to have an amazing physiotherapist - Victoria Addison who works at Panther clinic in the northwest. Victoria I found both most knowledgeable and therapeutic in her "trade". Victoria was able to provide a full range of therapeutic interventions for me including assigning weekly exercises that I feel helped considerably in giving me what I feel is now a full recovery from this fracture. Victoria comes highly recommended. The clinic itself is a very spacious and clean environment and the front end staff are both friendly and welcoming. read less

Obviously I went to Panther Sports to help with an injury and Anna-Lise helped me from not being able to turn my head or lift my right arm, to helping me get my range of motion back.
Anna-Lise is very patient and is willing to make things easier or harder if needed. Her and all the staff there really go that extra mile to make you feel comfortable and safe. (Alanna "Let me know if you have any pain, numbness or tingling")

I’ve seen Darcy for at least 6 years, possibly more. Couldn’t tell ya.

Darcy is a complete technician, deciphering the problem, then fixing things up in prompt fashion. His resume, experience, business success, and return clientele speak for themselves. He’s also a very likeable, personable, and down to Earth guy. When it comes to physio, I couldn’t recommend Darcy’s services more. In fact, my whole family sees him.

The staff are lovely too. I’m glad to see the clinic doing so well, they deserve it. read less

I was in a pretty bad car accident and for two weeks before I got into physio was feeling depressed and irritable. A friend recommended Darcy and after one session with Darcy and Teri there was a new sense of hope. They explained what the problems were with me and how we were going to fix them. I saw a path to recovery and I am on that path. They are friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating and professional.

The next day I had a spring in my step and my smile back that had been missing for three weeks. I look forward to continuing my work with them! read less

My wife and I have been attending Panther Country hills since well before Christmas. We can't speak highly enough of the Physiotherapists. The treatment and advice we have both received has been absolutely fantastic. I would highly recommend Panther to anyone requiring physio. Beware the front desk clerks though, most of them are quite unpleasant, snarky and full of "tude' the moment you walk in the door. One is very nice, but the rest are unnecessarily rude, to the point where my wife and I will just politely wait until the nice one is available. If you don't mind a snarky reception and can overlook the "tude" then the Physiotherapists are excellent and will fix you up. read less
