As we live In Mckenzie Towne we knee about Panther and decided to see what they could do to help us out. We had also been told by many people before going oh it's just growing pains it will go away. We met up with Michael Azzopardi and he went right to work on my son checking muscles to stance to how he would throw a rock in curling. He knew right away some of the issues of not using all the muscles properly and needing to readjust how you use the lower body. We started out going twice a week with homework of stretches to be done each day numerous times. Each visit was a new thing to do and work on and each time the pain was less and less. After awhile we were told to show up just once a week and then once in 2 weeks. Our last visit my son told him no more pain and we were discharged. All this was completed within roughly two months. I like the fact that they didn't say oh you should keep coming to see me, they were good that once the paid was gone they left us with all the stretches to stay on the right path and said if ever an issue to call or stop by and they would help out. So the whole experience with the team that works at this location was great and Michael was very good to deal with. So if your son/daughter loves sports and is having pain don't go with the "It's just Growing Pains" excuse, bring them here and you will keep them enjoying their favorite sports or activities. We were directed to Travis Gaudet at Panther Physio by a friend, whose daughter dealt with the same injury and recovery.

From Day #1, Travis made sure my daughter understood exactly what had happened, what the reconstruction looked like and what the goal was for recovery. He stressed the importance of being diligent with exercises and not pushing too hard in the beginning. Travis instilled confidence in my daughter to work through the stiffness in her knee and she began to see results quickly.

Throughout the course of rehabilitation, Travis was in contact with my daughter’s strength trainer, as well as her surgeon, and together they created an individualized program for us to follow. This communication was invaluable, as we knew everyone had the same goals and could adjust her exercises over the course of recovery.

Travis is so clearly committed to his clients and provides a level of care that we have not found anywhere else. I have recommended him to many people since my daughter started her rehabilitation and I will continue to do so.

On a side note, after just over a year post-surgery, my daughter is back playing the sports she loves and is stronger than ever. read less

I drive from Beddington (NW) to Seton (SE) for physio 2x each week for physiotherapy. Here's why:

In 2015, after seeing MANY, many doctors regarding my symptoms, Darcy INSTANTLY knew I was suffering from a disc injury, got me in for an immediate MRI, and I had decompression surgery for severe Cauda Equina Syndrome within 2 weeks. This (emergency surgery) COMPLETELY turned my life around. Thank you, Darcy!

At the time, Teri Stuckless was one of the amazing humans that greeted me upon arriving to my Panther appointments and made sure my paperwork was taken care of.

Fast forward to 2022, an MVA lands me back in physiotherapy and I seek out Darcy and his team, who have moved to the Seton location.

Teri Stuckless is now my (ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE) physiotherapist and has worked tirelessly to help me get my life back. Again, after seeing MANY doctors who cannot tell me what's wrong, Teri assesses that I am severely struggling with Post-Concussion Syndrome and we begin concussion treatments along side of my other MVA physio treatments. TOTAL GAME CHANGER! Teri has been my #1 ally this past year and each week she helps me put my brain & my body back together. Her skills and execution of knowledge are exceptional!

I have also seen Muge Browning, who gave me a very detailed & professional Pelvic Floor physio assessment, and Uriel Olaya for THE BEST (and very professional) Massages!

Without the Seton Panther team, I would not be where I am today. With zero exaggeration, I would probably be using a wheelchair 24/7 (twice over) and living in a constant state of brain fog.

With this skilled team on my side, I am able to receive the care I need and I have constant allies to keep me progressing toward my goals.

Darcy was able to pinpoint the exact cause to my issue, formulated an action plan and exercises for me to do as follow up to the treatment. After only a couple visits, I had shown immense improvement, and he said that I wouldn't need to come back for treatment unless my issue flared up again. What is most great about attending here is the staff/ physiotherapist , they determine quick and notice the flaws when you practice exercises so then they try to help you function better, they are also very kind and great at motivating and to take notice on one of the physiotherapists was Mahemud. I will follow Darcy and his team as he provides exceptional treatment, support and leadership. I went from barely able to function, extreme pain and miserable in 2009 with a previous physio treating me to transferring under Darcy’s care in late 2014 and finally receiving relief and recovery in my healing by him and his hands. I am beyond grateful to him and his team. Not only are they incredibly knowledgeable, extremely educated and effective in their treatment, they actually CARE about their patients and ensure you are getting the most effective treatments and proper support at all times from all doctors and treatment providers. I cannot recommend Panther Seton enough. They are treating me currently for a severe TBI, WAD 3, Spinal, Neurological Injury and my 2 year old toddler who was also in the accident. I was fortunate to have an amazing physiotherapist who assisted me in attaining a full recovery from my fracture. Her name is Victoria Addison. Victoria is not only well informed and versed in her field, but utilized a number of interventions - including applying ultrasound to the injury to massage and to providing a number and variety of exercise regimes that assisted in the healing of the fracture. Matt Morrison is an amazing physio. I feel so lucky to have accidently found him after my ACL surgery, when... read moreMatt Morrison is an amazing physio. I feel so lucky to have accidently found him after my ACL surgery, when I needed to find a new physio that was covered under the AHS program.

I've been seeing Matt weekly-ish for the last 6 months post knee ACL surgery (12ish month recovery expected in total), and he has supported me from the very beginning when I was still on crutches and unable to straighten or bend my leg, to my first jog last week. Matt is super knowledgeable about the ACL recovery progression, and has been able to guide me through week by week, setting the exercices to my stage of recovery while aiming me towards the goal of running. He's also just a great human and fun to chat to.

He's had to get creative as the gym equipment available in the clinic is unfortunately pretty limited, and the weights in particular have been insufficient for my needs for a while, so I'll likely be moving on soon. However I'd recommend Matt to anyone looking for an excellent physio.
