We were directed to Travis Gaudet at Panther Physio by a friend, whose daughter dealt with the same injury and recovery.

From Day #1, Travis made sure my daughter understood exactly what had happened, what the reconstruction looked like and what the goal was for recovery. He stressed the importance of being diligent with exercises and not pushing too hard in the beginning. Travis instilled confidence in my daughter to work through the stiffness in her knee and she began to see results quickly.

Throughout the course of rehabilitation, Travis was in contact with my daughter’s strength trainer, as well as her surgeon, and together they created an individualized program for us to follow. This communication was invaluable, as we knew everyone had the same goals and could adjust her exercises over the course of recovery.

Travis is so clearly committed to his clients and provides a level of care that we have not found anywhere else. I have recommended him to many people since my daughter started her rehabilitation and I will continue to do so.

On a side note, after just over a year post-surgery, my daughter is back playing the sports she loves and is stronger than ever. read less

Darcy and Dominique take their time to explain things, genuinely care, personable, listen to what you think you need in regards to your treatment and give their professional opinon making it more like a collaboration to get the patient better. Because of child care issues my daughter had to come to quite a few appointments and they were very understanding about it, even making jokes with her and making her feel welcome too. Very thorough and can refer other professionals if needed. Great experience all around. read less

(kind of dramatic but at the same time not really) I seriously injured my ankle at the end of August 2018 and I couldn’t walk, jog, bend or even sleep from the pain. From where I started to where I ended up at the end of my visits with Panther at Trico is a HUGE difference. I didn’t think I would get myself back to a point where I could return to rugby and soccer (or if I did it wouldn’t be the same) but I have returned to my sports at the same level as was at pre injury.

Steve is personable, professional and incredibly good at what he does, I am super grateful to have gotten to work with him. I also want to give a shout out to the front desk staff. To walk in every week and always be greeted with a friendly smile was just the cherry on top of a great visit.

At Panther, I was shocked to see how much more my therapist knew about my body and problems than I did. It's nice to have someone so familiar and knowledgeable help with the problems you came in to fix, AND the ones that are obvious to them when you limp in. Out of 6 doctors seen only Panther sports was able to help me. Just go there first. read less

I've been seeing Matt weekly-ish for the last 6 months post knee ACL surgery (12ish month recovery expected in total), and he has supported me from the very beginning when I was still on crutches and unable to straighten or bend my leg, to my first jog last week. Matt is super knowledgeable about the ACL recovery progression, and has been able to guide me through week by week, setting the exercices to my stage of recovery while aiming me towards the goal of running. He's also just a great human and fun to chat to.

He's had to get creative as the gym equipment available in the clinic is unfortunately pretty limited, and the weights in particular have been insufficient for my needs for a while, so I'll likely be moving on soon. However I'd recommend Matt to anyone looking for an excellent physio.

The ladies at the front desk (Carissa and Maria?) are also great. Always friendly and know my name. read less

So my opinion about this company was not pleasant.
However, when this location opened up and I met Darcy and his team- my opinion has changed. The staff at this clinic is incredible. They truly care about well being of every patient. Lisa is amazing at trying to accommodate emergency situations - always.
I also had hard time finding caring and knowledgeable massage therapist. Brittney is beyond incredible, skilled, knowledgeable and has healing hands.
Darcy has an amazing team at this clinic. I highly recommend it to everyone as I can say with confidence you will be in good hands. read less

I have seen Darcy Doyle for three months with jaw problems I have suffered with for one and a half years. Darcy is always professional, caring and kind while he treats my issue. I'm almost as good as new now and can honestly say I'm going to miss my weekly appointment with him. The facility is beautiful, modern, clean and parking is never an issue. Everyone from reception to the treatment area are happy to make your therapy a positive experience. My son who is 15 years old and does a lot of Curling was having a hard time with his... read moreMy son who is 15 years old and does a lot of Curling was having a hard time with his knees always being sore and hurting so much that the sport was becoming not enjoyable. As we live In Mckenzie Towne we knee about Panther and decided to see what they could do to help us out. We had also been told by many people before going oh it's just growing pains it will go away. We met up with Michael Azzopardi and he went right to work on my son checking muscles to stance to how he would throw a rock in curling. He knew right away some of the issues of not using all the muscles properly and needing to readjust how you use the lower body. We started out going twice a week with homework of stretches to be done each day numerous times. Each visit was a new thing to do and work on and each time the pain was less and less. After awhile we were told to show up just once a week and then once in 2 weeks. Our last visit my son told him no more pain and we were discharged. All this was completed within roughly two months. I like the fact that they didn't say oh you should keep coming to see me, they were good that once the paid was gone they left us with all the stretches to stay on the right path and said if ever an issue to call or stop by and they would help out. So the whole experience with the team that works at this location was great and Michael was very good to deal with. So if your son/daughter loves sports and is having pain don't go with the "It's just Growing Pains" excuse, bring them here and you will keep them enjoying their favorite sports or activities.
