I’ve been able to experience treatment from many of the physiotherapists. I typically see Jared. He has been a huge advocate for my recovery, going above and beyond getting me into seeing appropriate doctors for further treatment. All the staff are welcoming! Jaclyn is helpful when booking appointments. The physio aids, Erin and Dylan, are a huge help during the treatment process. They are always there for a good laugh during the hard days. I’ve also been lucky enough to see Cathy for massage therapy. She does an excellent job by providing a tailored massage to meet my health needs at the time of my session. read less

Eventually, I attended a clinic in downtown close to my work that has physiotherapy. Unfortunately the person working there told me I would have to rest for 4 to 6 weeks while they apply ultrasound to my shoulder.

I had been out of the gym for two months already, so I was determined to get a second opinion that could potentially expedite the process. I was lucky enough to end up at Panther Sport Medicine where I had the privilege of receiving treatment from Kevin You.

When he had assessed my shoulder he did fantastic job of explaining what was wrong with it, and what we had to do to get it back to full strength. His methods of needling, heating, and then teaching me various exercises to strengthen my shoulder allowed me to heal and return to the gym that very week. It has been three weeks since my first appointment and my shoulder feels better than ever.

If anyone is looking for a clinic where you can receive excellent treatment and proactive solutions to their problems, I highly recommend going to Kevin You. read less

I seemed to be getting worse and I was tired and losing hope. I was suggested to see Darcy Doyle. I was sent for x-rays immediately and shortly after an MRI. We found that I was more injured than the last physio thought. Darcy has a relationship with a specialist and I was able to meet with him too. There is finally some light at the end of the tunnel! Darcy is knowledgeable and great at what he does. Best decision I made in the last year is to not give up and trust in Darcy's wanting to help and get me on a road to less pain. read less

We were directed to Travis Gaudet at Panther Physio by a friend, whose daughter dealt with the same injury and recovery.

From Day #1, Travis made sure my daughter understood exactly what had happened, what the reconstruction looked like and what the goal was for recovery. He stressed the importance of being diligent with exercises and not pushing too hard in the beginning. Travis instilled confidence in my daughter to work through the stiffness in her knee and she began to see results quickly.

Throughout the course of rehabilitation, Travis was in contact with my daughter’s strength trainer, as well as her surgeon, and together they created an individualized program for us to follow. This communication was invaluable, as we knew everyone had the same goals and could adjust her exercises over the course of recovery.

Travis is so clearly committed to his clients and provides a level of care that we have not found anywhere else. I have recommended him to many people since my daughter started her rehabilitation and I will continue to do so.

On a side note, after just over a year post-surgery, my daughter is back playing the sports she loves and is stronger than ever. read less

A friend has been treated here and recommended to try it before I took that step. I went in for my assessment and IMMEDIATELY noticed a difference. Jared was very thorough and demonstrated his knowledge of spinal and neck problems and although I have a long way to go the progress in one session was huge; I could fully turn my neck for the first time in I don't even know how long and was able to sleep without pain! Not only that, but I was told that cortisone shots would have likely made the problem worse as the source of the issue is not in the area that my first physio thought. I could not give higher praise to the wonderful atmosphere and treatment I have been receiving. Lisa, at the front desk, always greets you with a smile (yes, I can tell, even behind the mask). Alicia, my usual physiotherapy assistant, is so kind, and right on top of anything that the physiotherapists may need to help with treatments. The physiotherapists have been tremendous in my recovery so far. I have been seeing Darcy, and occasionally Terri. Both are amazing and have multiple different methods of treatments they utilize during the treatment process. I had a quick diagnosis of my hip injury by Darcy and hopefully with the balance of stretching and strengthening exercises I will not need surgery.
Everyone is eager to help, always accommodating and genuinely interested in you and helping you to recover!
