I have had low back pain for 15 years and had resigned myself to this being an on-going issue for me. I had never tried physio but had been using chiro and massage therapy to manage my flare ups.

When I arrived at Panther, they were welcoming and accommodating immediately. Michael Azzopardi was the therapist I met, and for the first time in those 15 years, I had someone who was interested in helping me find the solution to my back pain, not just dealing with the flare ups.

Mike was always thoughtful and caring at every appointment. He took the time to LISTEN to me each time we met, I never felt rushed or that I was not his priority. He met with me twice a week while my pain was acute and gave me the homework/stretches that I needed to do in order solve the root problem. After working with Mike for several weeks my pain was gone and I was discharged with a plan for the future.

6 months after my last physio appointment with Mike, I was in a motor vehicle accident. I suffered from whiplash and immediately thought to see him in order to help me through the lingering pain. We were directed to Travis Gaudet at Panther Physio by a friend, whose daughter dealt with the same injury and recovery.

From Day #1, Travis made sure my daughter understood exactly what had happened, what the reconstruction looked like and what the goal was for recovery. He stressed the importance of being diligent with exercises and not pushing too hard in the beginning. Travis instilled confidence in my daughter to work through the stiffness in her knee and she began to see results quickly.

Throughout the course of rehabilitation, Travis was in contact with my daughter’s strength trainer, as well as her surgeon, and together they created an individualized program for us to follow. This communication was invaluable, as we knew everyone had the same goals and could adjust her exercises over the course of recovery.

Travis is so clearly committed to his clients and provides a level of care that we have not found anywhere else. I have recommended him to many people since my daughter started her rehabilitation and I will continue to do so.

On a side note, after just over a year post-surgery, my daughter is back playing the sports she loves and is stronger than ever. read less

I am seeing physio therapist Darcy and massage therapist Brittany and I have only good things to say about them. Darcy is truly amazing! Not only does he possess a deep understanding of his profession, but he also shows genuine patience and passion towards his patients. Additionally, his adeptness in dealing with insurance companies and lawyers is commendable. Brittany is also truly exceptional. She possesses a keen understanding of muscle stiffness and soreness, adeptly releasing tension with each session. Not to mention, she's a wonderful conversationalist. So my opinion about this company was not pleasant.
However, when this location opened up and I met Darcy and his team- my opinion has changed. The staff at this clinic is incredible. They truly care about well being of every patient. Lisa is amazing at trying to accommodate emergency situations - always.
I also had hard time finding caring and knowledgeable massage therapist. Brittney is beyond incredible, skilled, knowledgeable and has healing hands.
Darcy has an amazing team at this clinic. I highly recommend it to everyone as I can say with confidence you will be in good hands. read less

I’ve seen Darcy for at least 6 years, possibly more. Couldn’t tell ya.

Darcy is a complete technician, deciphering the problem, then fixing things up in prompt fashion. His resume, experience, business success, and return clientele speak for themselves. He’s also a very likeable, personable, and down to Earth guy. When it comes to physio, I couldn’t recommend Darcy’s services more. In fact, my whole family sees him.

I arrived after having dislocated my arm and severely damaged my rotator cuff. When I first started working with Tarun, my strength and range of motion were very limited. With a lot of patience and kind persistence, Tarun didn't just get me back to full working condition, he - in many ways - got me stronger and better than I was before my injury. And, for the areas that still need some continued work and exercise, he has given me more than enough resources and knowledge to ensure I continue to improve.

On the first visit she was very impressive: she was able to explain the specific muscles and processes that would facilitate healing, as well as how they intersected.

A lot of phyios talk like they know their stuff, but her knowledge really is ingrained and accurate. I fact-checked her after my first session when I got home, and she was bang-on. Impressive considering that my injury is not a particularly common one.

Her treatments are expeditious and focused on my needs. She provides hands-on instruction for exercises and feedback on progress. She is prioritizing treatment to help me return to sport and is responsive to my input and symptoms.

The facility itself is the typical physio office: curtains separating beds. It's clean and in good repair. My experience with the support staff has also been positive.

Overall, I am very impressed with my experience so far at Panther and with Jenna in particular. read less

My son who is 15 years old and does a lot of Curling was having a hard time with his... read moreMy son who is 15 years old and does a lot of Curling was having a hard time with his knees always being sore and hurting so much that the sport was becoming not enjoyable. As we live In Mckenzie Towne we knee about Panther and decided to see what they could do to help us out. We had also been told by many people before going oh it's just growing pains it will go away. We met up with Michael Azzopardi and he went right to work on my son checking muscles to stance to how he would throw a rock in curling. He knew right away some of the issues of not using all the muscles properly and needing to readjust how you use the lower body. We started out going twice a week with homework of stretches to be done each day numerous times. Each visit was a new thing to do and work on and each time the pain was less and less. After awhile we were told to show up just once a week and then once in 2 weeks. Our last visit my son told him no more pain and we were discharged. All this was completed within roughly two months. I like the fact that they didn't say oh you should keep coming to see me, they were good that once the paid was gone they left us with all the stretches to stay on the right path and said if ever an issue to call or stop by and they would help out. So the whole experience with the team that works at this location was great and Michael was very good to deal with. So if your son/daughter loves sports and is having pain don't go with the "It's just Growing Pains" excuse, bring them here and you will keep them enjoying their favorite sports or activities. I was injured at work with head injury,jaw injury and back injury on tale bone. My physical shape and concussions followed were too much. I made a skilled , caring, empathetic physiotherapist Mahemud and his helper Nancy. They are wonderful. I regain my life because of their hard work. I have known Nancy since 2007 when I first start using this facility after my car accident. She is still have same energy, care , compassion and empathy

I was in a pretty bad car accident and for two weeks before I got into physio was feeling depressed and irritable. A friend recommended Darcy and after one session with Darcy and Teri there was a new sense of hope. They explained what the problems were with me and how we were going to fix them. I saw a path to recovery and I am on that path. They are friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating and professional.
