We were directed to Travis Gaudet at Panther Physio by a friend, whose daughter dealt with the same injury and recovery.

From Day #1, Travis made sure my daughter understood exactly what had happened, what the reconstruction looked like and what the goal was for recovery. He stressed the importance of being diligent with exercises and not pushing too hard in the beginning. Travis instilled confidence in my daughter to work through the stiffness in her knee and she began to see results quickly.

Throughout the course of rehabilitation, Travis was in contact with my daughter’s strength trainer, as well as her surgeon, and together they created an individualized program for us to follow. This communication was invaluable, as we knew everyone had the same goals and could adjust her exercises over the course of recovery.

Travis is so clearly committed to his clients and provides a level of care that we have not found anywhere else. I have recommended him to many people since my daughter started her rehabilitation and I will continue to do so.

On a side note, after just over a year post-surgery, my daughter is back playing the sports she loves and is stronger than ever. read less

(kind of dramatic but at the same time not really) I seriously injured my ankle at the end of August 2018 and I couldn’t walk, jog, bend or even sleep from the pain. From where I started to where I ended up at the end of my visits with Panther at Trico is a HUGE difference. I didn’t think I would get myself back to a point where I could return to rugby and soccer (or if I did it wouldn’t be the same) but I have returned to my sports at the same level as was at pre injury.

Steve is personable, professional and incredibly good at what he does, I am super grateful to have gotten to work with him. I also want to give a shout out to the front desk staff. To walk in every week and always be greeted with a friendly smile was just the cherry on top of a great visit.

As we live In Mckenzie Towne we knee about Panther and decided to see what they could do to help us out. We had also been told by many people before going oh it's just growing pains it will go away. We met up with Michael Azzopardi and he went right to work on my son checking muscles to stance to how he would throw a rock in curling. He knew right away some of the issues of not using all the muscles properly and needing to readjust how you use the lower body. We started out going twice a week with homework of stretches to be done each day numerous times. Each visit was a new thing to do and work on and each time the pain was less and less. After awhile we were told to show up just once a week and then once in 2 weeks. Our last visit my son told him no more pain and we were discharged. All this was completed within roughly two months. I like the fact that they didn't say oh you should keep coming to see me, they were good that once the paid was gone they left us with all the stretches to stay on the right path and said if ever an issue to call or stop by and they would help out. So the whole experience with the team that works at this location was great and Michael was very good to deal with. So if your son/daughter loves sports and is having pain don't go with the "It's just Growing Pains" excuse, bring them here and you will keep them enjoying their favorite sports or activities. I never had to wait in the waiting room for my appointments for more than a couple minutes, but usually no wait at all. Clinic also continuously masks and is clearly COVID cautious. I was in a pretty bad car accident and for two weeks before I got into physio was feeling depressed and irritable. A friend recommended Darcy and after one session with Darcy and Teri there was a new sense of hope. They explained what the problems were with me and how we were going to fix them. I saw a path to recovery and I am on that path. They are friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating and professional.

Each trip from the admin staff, to their processes with e mail reminders, to the video exercise and of course the great one, my Physiotherapist Mike Azzopardi. Mike was top notch and guided me through a recovery that has left me feeling amazing. Being so worried to never get my wrist function back, he applied physical and also spoke to my mental recovery, which was as important as the physical side. As I I was able to change my view point, and think more positively, my recovery became more organic and started to just flow. I implemented everything he sent me home with, and today I'm about 10% off with my strength and mobility. These people know how to help, and I wouldn't think twice to refer anyone to visit their clinics. A huge thanks to Mike A, and the staff for making my recovery experience a WOW one. read less

If I had waited to schedule physio with Darcy after my knee accident, I would have caused much more damage to my knee. Darcy immediately knew how to treat my knee (and the plan was counterintuitive to me at the time because I don't have the physiology knowledge that he does). He was a great resource- he helped me navigate the hurdles to achieving timely medical and surgical care. His physio plans are clear, and he takes the time to explain each exercise/stretch. My husband had a knee reconstruction nearly 20 years ago, and Darcy helped him achieve full stability and mobility with his post-op physio regimen (this is why I knew I wanted to see Darcy when I hurt myself). He and my son have both visited Darcy for occasional injuries since then. The entire team at Panther Sports Medicine Seton has been great to deal with. Beware the front desk clerks though, most of them are quite unpleasant, snarky and full of "tude' the moment you walk in the door. One is very nice, but the rest are unnecessarily rude, to the point where my wife and I will just politely wait until the nice one is available. Jason Wei was soo very kind in his assessment and reassured me that it will be back to almost normal. After lots of special physio & exercise Jason gave me back my movement and my arm is back to normal.

I came out of it more fit and can lift 100 lbs. Jason reassured me I will be stronger than when I came, I went back to work in record time. Jason was a very kind, considerate, knowledgeable, caring, and an amazing Physiotherapist. I would recommend Jason to anyone wanting the best care you possibly could get.

All the staff were super helpful, Sarah was so helpful as well as Erin and Ijeoma, The front desk staff were so accommodating as well.
