(kind of dramatic buy at the same time not really) I seriously injured my ankle at the end of August 2018 and I couldn’t walk, jog, bend or even sleep from the pain. From where I started to where I ended up at the end of my visits with Panther at Trico is a HUGE difference. I didn’t think I would get myself back to a point where I could return to rugby and soccer (or if I did it wouldn’t be the same) but I have returned to my sports at the same level as was at pre injury.

Steve is personable, professional and incredibly good at what he does, I am super grateful to have gotten to work with him. I also want to give a shout out to the front desk staff. To walk in every week and always be greeted with a friendly smile was just the cherry on top of a great visit.

Travis instilled confidence in my daughter to work through the stiffness in her knee and she began to see results quickly.

Throughout the course of rehabilitation, Travis was in contact with my daughter’s strength trainer, as well as her surgeon, and together they created an individualized program for us to follow. This communication was invaluable, as we knew everyone had the same goals and could adjust her exercises over the course of recovery.

I was in a pretty bad car accident and for two weeks before I got into physio was feeling depressed and irritable. A friend recommended Darcy and after one session with Darcy and Teri there was a new sense of hope. They explained what the problems were with me and how we were going to fix them. Mobility, ease of movement, pain free, increase in quality of life and regaining a positive outlook on healing and life after injury are just some of the strong attributes this team have guided me through with my own injuries.

My first contact with the clinic was on the phone with the lovely Emily. Emily is very kind, professional and always accommodating. She answered all of my questions and based on what I told her about my MVA she recommended who I should see. I am very fortunate to be under the care of the best physiotherapists in South Calgary. It was sad to see Dominique leave to move to a new city for wonderful new opportunities (I wish her the very best), but Josh has been amazing at picking up right where she left off and I feel very well taken care of and in great hands. Josh is very knowledgeable, professional, confident, kind hearted, soft spoken and eager to assess and administer the best care and I get positive results. Cody is always friendly, upbeat, positive and ready to assist with warm pads and compresses (I can tell Cody has a great smile under that mask!). I wish I could see Brittney every week for massage! She is amazing, very knowledgeable and skilled, caring, warm and friendly and again I always see positive results after I see her. I found that utilizing massage therapy with physiotherapy has made a tremendous impact on my healing and this is due to the overlapping comprehensive care from all therapists.

Having knowledge and skill are necessary qualities for any clinic but what sets Seton Panther Sports Medicine apart are the people working at this state of the art amazing facility. I will follow Darcy and his team as he provides exceptional treatment, support and leadership. I went from barely able to function, extreme pain and miserable in 2009 with a previous physio treating me to transferring under Darcy’s care in late 2014 and finally receiving relief and recovery in my healing by him and his hands. I am beyond grateful to him and his team. Not only are they incredibly knowledgeable, extremely educated and effective in their treatment, they actually CARE about their patients and ensure you are getting the most effective treatments and proper support at all times from all doctors and treatment providers. I cannot recommend Panther Seton enough. They are treating me currently for a severe TBI, WAD 3, Spinal, Neurological Injury and my 2 year old toddler who was also in the accident. I went to panther physio, ken is amazing. He did dry needling and some electric waves therapy, i followed a few simple exercises he taught and it vanished within a month! Majic!
