I've been seeing Matt weekly-ish for the last 6 months post knee ACL surgery (12ish month recovery expected in total), and he has supported me from the very beginning when I was still on crutches and unable to straighten or bend my leg, to my first jog last week. Matt is super knowledgeable about the ACL recovery progression, and has been able to guide me through week by week, setting the exercices to my stage of recovery while aiming me towards the goal of running. He's also just a great human and fun to chat to.

He's had to get creative as the gym equipment available in the clinic is unfortunately pretty limited, and the weights in particular have been insufficient for my needs for a while, so I'll likely be moving on soon. However I'd recommend Matt to anyone looking for an excellent physio.

I have been going to physio for a little over a year and my physiotherapist, Jason, is super helpful and very knowledgeable in his field. He always made sure I was comfortable and well taken care during my treatment. Any questions I would throw at him, he would know the answer to. Nearing the end of my treatment, Jason was able to set me up with a good workout plan for the gym/home to ensure the upkeep of my injuries and made sure to highlight the fact that I am welcome back anytime for treatment! I was able to heal a majority of my back/neck problems with different types of treatment he had recommended (dry needling/cupping/rolling etc.). Additionally, AJ who worked majority in the gym was also a huge help! He has a very strong attention to detail and would assist me in perfecting my form when doing the exercising! AJ would be able to keep me motivated while simultaneously helping 3-4 other clients. Lastly, the rest of the staff were ALSO all super friendly and genuine! The front desk (Danni especially!!) would always welcome me with a smile and remember many of the clients names despite seeing 10+ each day! I am seeing physio therapist Darcy and massage therapist Brittany and I have only good things to say about them. Darcy is truly amazing! Not only does he possess a deep understanding of his profession, but he also shows genuine patience and passion towards his patients. Additionally, his adeptness in dealing with insurance companies and lawyers is commendable. Brittany is also truly exceptional. I have had low back pain for 15 years and had resigned myself to this being an on-going issue for me. I had never tried physio but had been using chiro and massage therapy to manage my flare ups.

When I arrived at Panther, they were welcoming and accommodating immediately. Michael Azzopardi was the therapist I met, and for the first time in those 15 years, I had someone who was interested in helping me find the solution to my back pain, not just dealing with the flare ups.

Mike was always thoughtful and caring at every appointment. He took the time to LISTEN to me each time we met, I never felt rushed or that I was not his priority. He met with me twice a week while my pain was acute and gave me the homework/stretches that I needed to do in order solve the root problem. After working with Mike for several weeks my pain was gone and I was discharged with a plan for the future.

6 months after my last physio appointment with Mike, I was in a motor vehicle accident. I suffered from whiplash and immediately thought to see him in order to help me through the lingering pain. Again I was not disappointed and he helped me to understand the condition and to recover fully. read less

We were directed to Travis Gaudet at Panther Physio by a friend, whose daughter dealt with the same injury and recovery.

From Day #1, Travis made sure my daughter understood exactly what had happened, what the reconstruction looked like and what the goal was for recovery. He stressed the importance of being diligent with exercises and not pushing too hard in the beginning. Travis instilled confidence in my daughter to work through the stiffness in her knee and she began to see results quickly.

Throughout the course of rehabilitation, Travis was in contact with my daughter’s strength trainer, as well as her surgeon, and together they created an individualized program for us to follow. This communication was invaluable, as we knew everyone had the same goals and could adjust her exercises over the course of recovery.

Travis is so clearly committed to his clients and provides a level of care that we have not found anywhere else. I have recommended him to many people since my daughter started her rehabilitation and I will continue to do so.

On a side note, after just over a year post-surgery, my daughter is back playing the sports she loves and is stronger than ever. read less

I visited this facility in January 2018, traveling from the USA, training in boxing and wrestling with badly aching shoulders. I was seen expeditiously quick, and in my first session diagnosed with shoulder impingement and given exercises and treatment to assist me. I have been to MANY physical therapy-type establishments in my lifetime, and this place was head and shoulders the best one I have ever been to, and that's across multiple countries! I deeply apologize for not writing this sooner, as life happens, but I had to share my experience, no matter how delayed!

While here (and what I recall/stands out the most to me in retrospect) I was treated by the staff with positivity and care, an intellectual and concise approach to both my problem and solution, and a feeling of genuine support that I needed while rehabilitating my injuries. Truly at the time it felt like a light at the end of a tunnel, in a country that was not my own, and I could not have felt more welcome or at home. Thank you Panther Sports for this experience!! I urge anyone seeking similar treatment and guidance to call them now, as they are truly one of a kind. read less
