We were directed to Travis Gaudet at Panther Physio by a friend, whose daughter dealt with the same injury and recovery.

From Day #1, Travis made sure my daughter understood exactly what had happened, what the reconstruction looked like and what the goal was for recovery. He stressed the importance of being diligent with exercises and not pushing too hard in the beginning. Travis instilled confidence in my daughter to work through the stiffness in her knee and she began to see results quickly.

Throughout the course of rehabilitation, Travis was in contact with my daughter’s strength trainer, as well as her surgeon, and together they created an individualized program for us to follow. This communication was invaluable, as we knew everyone had the same goals and could adjust her exercises over the course of recovery.

Travis is so clearly committed to his clients and provides a level of care that we have not found anywhere else. I have recommended him to many people since my daughter started her rehabilitation and I will continue to do so.

On the first visit she was very impressive: she was able to explain the specific muscles and processes that would facilitate healing, as well as how they intersected.

A lot of phyios talk like they know their stuff, but her knowledge really is ingrained and accurate. I fact-checked her after my first session when I got home, and she was bang-on. Impressive considering that my injury is not a particularly common one.

Her treatments are expeditious and focused on my needs. She provides hands-on instruction for exercises and feedback on progress. She is prioritizing treatment to help me return to sport and is responsive to my input and symptoms.

The facility itself is the typical physio office: curtains separating beds. It's clean and in good repair. My experience with the support staff has also been positive.

Overall, I am very impressed with my experience so far at Panther and with Jenna in particular. read less

As we live In Mckenzie Towne we knee about Panther and decided to see what they could do to help us out. We had also been told by many people before going oh it's just growing pains it will go away. We met up with Michael Azzopardi and he went right to work on my son checking muscles to stance to how he would throw a rock in curling. He knew right away some of the issues of not using all the muscles properly and needing to readjust how you use the lower body. We started out going twice a week with homework of stretches to be done each day numerous times. Each visit was a new thing to do and work on and each time the pain was less and less. After awhile we were told to show up just once a week and then once in 2 weeks. Our last visit my son told him no more pain and we were discharged. All this was completed within roughly two months. I like the fact that they didn't say oh you should keep coming to see me, they were good that once the paid was gone they left us with all the stretches to stay on the right path and said if ever an issue to call or stop by and they would help out. So the whole experience with the team that works at this location was great and Michael was very good to deal with. So if your son/daughter loves sports and is having pain don't go with the "It's just Growing Pains" excuse, bring them here and you will keep them enjoying their favorite sports or activities. I was fortunate to have an amazing physiotherapist who assisted me in attaining a full recovery from my fracture. Her name is Victoria Addison. Victoria is not only well informed and versed in her field, but utilized a number of interventions - including applying ultrasound to the injury to massage and to providing a number and variety of exercise regimes that assisted in the healing of the fracture. I drive from Beddington (NW) to Seton (SE) for physio 2x each week for physiotherapy. Here's why:

In 2015, after seeing MANY, many doctors regarding my symptoms, Darcy INSTANTLY knew I was suffering from a disc injury, got me in for an immediate MRI, and I had decompression surgery for severe Cauda Equina Syndrome within 2 weeks. This (emergency surgery) COMPLETELY turned my life around. Thank you, Darcy!

At the time, Teri Stuckless was one of the amazing humans that greeted me upon arriving to my Panther appointments and made sure my paperwork was taken care of.

Fast forward to 2022, an MVA lands me back in physiotherapy and I seek out Darcy and his team, who have moved to the Seton location.

Teri Stuckless is now my (ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE) physiotherapist and has worked tirelessly to help me get my life back. Again, after seeing MANY doctors who cannot tell me what's wrong, Teri assesses that I am severely struggling with Post-Concussion Syndrome and we begin concussion treatments along side of my other MVA physio treatments. TOTAL GAME CHANGER! Teri has been my #1 ally this past year and each week she helps me put my brain & my body back together. Her skills and execution of knowledge are exceptional!

I have also seen Muge Browning, who gave me a very detailed & professional Pelvic Floor physio assessment, and Uriel Olaya for THE BEST (and very professional) Massages!

Without the Seton Panther team, I would not be where I am today. With zero exaggeration, I would probably be using a wheelchair 24/7 (twice over) and living in a constant state of brain fog.

I have had low back pain for 15 years and had resigned myself to this being an on-going issue for me. I had never tried physio but had been using chiro and massage therapy to manage my flare ups.

When I arrived at Panther, they were welcoming and accommodating immediately. Michael Azzopardi was the therapist I met, and for the first time in those 15 years, I had someone who was interested in helping me find the solution to my back pain, not just dealing with the flare ups.

Mike was always thoughtful and caring at every appointment. He took the time to LISTEN to me each time we met, I never felt rushed or that I was not his priority. He met with me twice a week while my pain was acute and gave me the homework/stretches that I needed to do in order solve the root problem. After working with Mike for several weeks my pain was gone and I was discharged with a plan for the future.

6 months after my last physio appointment with Mike, I was in a motor vehicle accident. I suffered from whiplash and immediately thought to see him in order to help me through the lingering pain. Again I was not disappointed and he helped me to understand the condition and to recover fully. read less
