I saw Amanda Bjerkseth three times who helped me better than any other physio I’ve seen previously. I was expecting to be sat down and hooked up to a tens machine or given some sort of gel and pulse technology but she gave a range of physical exercises designed to strengthen the muscles around the problem area so I built up adequate support. Each visit meant new exercises were prescribed depending on my progress or what was/wasn’t working. Exercises increased in difficulty and over a month or so I got stronger and the pain started to lessen. Exercises were emailed in a simple visual way so I knew what to do and kept form.

Amanda is clear, concise and knowledgeable. Her advice as well as knowledge of what will help is really good. I will be going back to her for any future issues and recommend her and Panther for any physio needs. read less

From Day #1, Travis made sure my daughter understood exactly what had happened, what the reconstruction looked like and what the goal was for recovery. He stressed the importance of being diligent with exercises and not pushing too hard in the beginning. Travis instilled confidence in my daughter to work through the stiffness in her knee and she began to see results quickly.

Throughout the course of rehabilitation, Travis was in contact with my daughter’s strength trainer, as well as her surgeon, and together they created an individualized program for us to follow. This communication was invaluable, as we knew everyone had the same goals and could adjust her exercises over the course of recovery.

Travis is so clearly committed to his clients and provides a level of care that we have not found anywhere else. I have recommended him to many people since my daughter started her rehabilitation and I will continue to do so.

The head physio therapist Darcy Doyle is always the first person I recommend when someone is needing treatment. I’ve been seeing Darcy Doyle for 4 years now. When he moved to the Seton location, I knew I was going to continue seeing him there. Darcy is highly educated in what he does and definitely the best physio therapist I’ve ever gone to see. Him and his staff build a relationship with every one of their clients and when you go for treatment it doesn’t feel like a task it feel like going to see your second family, with the extra bonus of getting significant pain relief. Darcy has always ensured that every one of his clients receives the best care, and will do everything in his power to ensure all his clients receive all the help they need. I have had low back pain for 15 years and had resigned myself to this being an on-going issue for me. I had never tried physio but had been using chiro and massage therapy to manage my flare ups.

When I arrived at Panther, they were welcoming and accommodating immediately. Michael Azzopardi was the therapist I met, and for the first time in those 15 years, I had someone who was interested in helping me find the solution to my back pain, not just dealing with the flare ups.

Mike was always thoughtful and caring at every appointment. He took the time to LISTEN to me each time we met, I never felt rushed or that I was not his priority. He met with me twice a week while my pain was acute and gave me the homework/stretches that I needed to do in order solve the root problem. After working with Mike for several weeks my pain was gone and I was discharged with a plan for the future.

6 months after my last physio appointment with Mike, I was in a motor vehicle accident. I suffered from whiplash and immediately thought to see him in order to help me through the lingering pain. Again I was not disappointed and he helped me to understand the condition and to recover fully. read less
