I went in with very uncomfortable back and leg nerve pain that I had been dealing with for months. In the first visit Darcy diagnosed my injury and started treatment which allowed me to start sleeping better and resume some of my daily activities. After the second visit the results basically made me feel that life could get back to normal. I am now three treatments in and life is good! I wish I made the call to go see them sooner. An added bonus is that the front staff is very efficient with their appointment scheduling and I have never had to wait in the waiting room!

If I had waited to schedule physio with Darcy after my knee accident, I would have caused much more damage to my knee. Darcy immediately knew how to treat my knee (and the plan was counterintuitive to me at the time because I don't have the physiology knowledge that he does). He was a great resource- he helped me navigate the hurdles to achieving timely medical and surgical care. His physio plans are clear, and he takes the time to explain each exercise/stretch. My husband had a knee reconstruction nearly 20 years ago, and Darcy helped him achieve full stability and mobility with his post-op physio regimen (this is why I knew I wanted to see Darcy when I hurt myself). He and my son have both visited Darcy for occasional injuries since then. The entire team at Panther Sports Medicine Seton has been great to deal with. We were directed to Travis Gaudet at Panther Physio by a friend, whose daughter dealt with the same injury and recovery.

From Day #1, Travis made sure my daughter understood exactly what had happened, what the reconstruction looked like and what the goal was for recovery. He stressed the importance of being diligent with exercises and not pushing too hard in the beginning. Travis instilled confidence in my daughter to work through the stiffness in her knee and she began to see results quickly.

Throughout the course of rehabilitation, Travis was in contact with my daughter’s strength trainer, as well as her surgeon, and together they created an individualized program for us to follow. This communication was invaluable, as we knew everyone had the same goals and could adjust her exercises over the course of recovery.

Travis is so clearly committed to his clients and provides a level of care that we have not found anywhere else. I have recommended him to many people since my daughter started her rehabilitation and I will continue to do so.

On a side note, after just over a year post-surgery, my daughter is back playing the sports she loves and is stronger than ever. read less

I drive from Beddington (NW) to Seton (SE) for physio 2x each week for physiotherapy. Here's why:

In 2015, after seeing MANY, many doctors regarding my symptoms, Darcy INSTANTLY knew I was suffering from a disc injury, got me in for an immediate MRI, and I had decompression surgery for severe Cauda Equina Syndrome within 2 weeks. This (emergency surgery) COMPLETELY turned my life around. Thank you, Darcy!

At the time, Teri Stuckless was one of the amazing humans that greeted me upon arriving to my Panther appointments and made sure my paperwork was taken care of.

Fast forward to 2022, an MVA lands me back in physiotherapy and I seek out Darcy and his team, who have moved to the Seton location.

Teri Stuckless is now my (ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE) physiotherapist and has worked tirelessly to help me get my life back. Again, after seeing MANY doctors who cannot tell me what's wrong, Teri assesses that I am severely struggling with Post-Concussion Syndrome and we begin concussion treatments along side of my other MVA physio treatments. TOTAL GAME CHANGER! Teri has been my #1 ally this past year and each week she helps me put my brain & my body back together. Her skills and execution of knowledge are exceptional!

I have also seen Muge Browning, who gave me a very detailed & professional Pelvic Floor physio assessment, and Uriel Olaya for THE BEST (and very professional) Massages!

Without the Seton Panther team, I would not be where I am today. With zero exaggeration, I would probably be using a wheelchair 24/7 (twice over) and living in a constant state of brain fog.

With this skilled team on my side, I am able to receive the care I need and I have constant allies to keep me progressing toward my goals.

I have been going to physio for a little over a year and my physiotherapist, Jason, is super helpful and very knowledgeable in his field. He always made sure I was comfortable and well taken care during my treatment. Any questions I would throw at him, he would know the answer to. Nearing the end of my treatment, Jason was able to set me up with a good workout plan for the gym/home to ensure the upkeep of my injuries and made sure to highlight the fact that I am welcome back anytime for treatment! I was able to heal a majority of my back/neck problems with different types of treatment he had recommended (dry needling/cupping/rolling etc.). Additionally, AJ who worked majority in the gym was also a huge help! He has a very strong attention to detail and would assist me in perfecting my form when doing the exercising! AJ would be able to keep me motivated while simultaneously helping 3-4 other clients. Lastly, the rest of the staff were ALSO all super friendly and genuine! The front desk (Danni especially!!) would always welcome me with a smile and remember many of the clients names despite seeing 10+ each day! I will follow Darcy and his team as he provides exceptional treatment, support and leadership. I went from barely able to function, extreme pain and miserable in 2009 with a previous physio treating me to transferring under Darcy’s care in late 2014 and finally receiving relief and recovery in my healing by him and his hands. I am beyond grateful to him and his team. Not only are they incredibly knowledgeable, extremely educated and effective in their treatment, they actually CARE about their patients and ensure you are getting the most effective treatments and proper support at all times from all doctors and treatment providers. I cannot recommend Panther Seton enough. They are treating me currently for a severe TBI, WAD 3, Spinal, Neurological Injury and my 2 year old toddler who was also in the accident. I can say that from where I am today with the hip I wouldn’t be nearly as far without the help with my physiotherapist and my wife. They both encouraged me to keep on trucking and fight through pain and my limitations.
I am almost able to walk without aids.
I am still trying to rebuild my left side as it is as flat as Hank Hills you know what, as the muscle is much smaller and weaker than my right.

I've been seeing Matt weekly-ish for the last 6 months post knee ACL surgery (12ish month recovery expected in total), and he has supported me from the very beginning when I was still on crutches and unable to straighten or bend my leg, to my first jog last week. Matt is super knowledgeable about the ACL recovery progression, and has been able to guide me through week by week, setting the exercices to my stage of recovery while aiming me towards the goal of running. He's also just a great human and fun to chat to.

He's had to get creative as the gym equipment available in the clinic is unfortunately pretty limited, and the weights in particular have been insufficient for my needs for a while, so I'll likely be moving on soon. However I'd recommend Matt to anyone looking for an excellent physio.

(kind of dramatic buy at the same time not really) I seriously injured my ankle at the end of August 2018 and I couldn’t walk, jog, bend or even sleep from the pain. From where I started to where I ended up at the end of my visits with Panther at Trico is a HUGE difference. I didn’t think I would get myself back to a point where I could return to rugby and soccer (or if I did it wouldn’t be the same) but I have returned to my sports at the same level as was at pre injury.

Steve is personable, professional and incredibly good at what he does, I am super grateful to have gotten to work with him. I also want to give a shout out to the front desk staff. To walk in every week and always be greeted with a friendly smile was just the cherry on top of a great visit.
