Eventually, I attended a clinic in downtown close to my work that has physiotherapy. Unfortunately the person working there told me I would have to rest for 4 to 6 weeks while they apply ultrasound to my shoulder.

I had been out of the gym for two months already, so I was determined to get a second opinion that could potentially expedite the process. I was lucky enough to end up at Panther Sport Medicine where I had the privilege of receiving treatment from Kevin You.

When he had assessed my shoulder he did fantastic job of explaining what was wrong with it, and what we had to do to get it back to full strength. His methods of needling, heating, and then teaching me various exercises to strengthen my shoulder allowed me to heal and return to the gym that very week. It has been three weeks since my first appointment and my shoulder feels better than ever.

If anyone is looking for a clinic where you can receive excellent treatment and proactive solutions to their problems, I highly recommend going to Kevin You. read less

I've seen Darcy at least 6 times for various injuries since 2004. He has fixed me up every single time, without fail. My wife and I have been attending Panther Country hills since well before Christmas. We can't speak highly enough of the Physiotherapists. The treatment and advice we have both received has been absolutely fantastic. I would highly recommend Panther to anyone requiring physio. Beware the front desk clerks though, most of them are quite unpleasant, snarky and full of "tude' the moment you walk in the door. One is very nice, but the rest are unnecessarily rude, to the point where my wife and I will just politely wait until the nice one is available. If you don't mind a snarky reception and can overlook the "tude" then the Physiotherapists are excellent and will fix you up. read less

We were directed to Travis Gaudet at Panther Physio by a friend, whose daughter dealt with the same injury and recovery.

From Day #1, Travis made sure my daughter understood exactly what had happened, what the reconstruction looked like and what the goal was for recovery. He stressed the importance of being diligent with exercises and not pushing too hard in the beginning. Travis instilled confidence in my daughter to work through the stiffness in her knee and she began to see results quickly.

Throughout the course of rehabilitation, Travis was in contact with my daughter’s strength trainer, as well as her surgeon, and together they created an individualized program for us to follow. This communication was invaluable, as we knew everyone had the same goals and could adjust her exercises over the course of recovery.

Travis is so clearly committed to his clients and provides a level of care that we have not found anywhere else. I have recommended him to many people since my daughter started her rehabilitation and I will continue to do so.

On a side note, after just over a year post-surgery, my daughter is back playing the sports she loves and is stronger than ever. read less

Each trip from the admin staff, to their processes with e mail reminders, to the video exercise and of course the great one, my Physiotherapist Mike Azzopardi. Mike was top notch and guided me through a recovery that has left me feeling amazing. Being so worried to never get my wrist function back, he applied physical and also spoke to my mental recovery, which was as important as the physical side. As I I was able to change my view point, and think more positively, my recovery became more organic and started to just flow. I implemented everything he sent me home with, and today I'm about 10% off with my strength and mobility. These people know how to help, and I wouldn't think twice to refer anyone to visit their clinics. A huge thanks to Mike A, and the staff for making my recovery experience a WOW one. read less

I have seen Jenna for four sessions since my shoulder surgery on June 4. On the first visit she was... read moreI have seen Jenna for four sessions since my shoulder surgery on June 4. On the first visit she was very impressive: she was able to explain the specific muscles and processes that would facilitate healing, as well as how they intersected.

A lot of phyios talk like they know their stuff, but her knowledge really is ingrained and accurate. I fact-checked her after my first session when I got home, and she was bang-on. Impressive considering that my injury is not a particularly common one.

Her treatments are expeditious and focused on my needs. She provides hands-on instruction for exercises and feedback on progress. She is prioritizing treatment to help me return to sport and is responsive to my input and symptoms.

The facility itself is the typical physio office: curtains separating beds. It's clean and in good repair. My experience with the support staff has also been positive.

Overall, I am very impressed with my experience so far at Panther and with Jenna in particular. read less

First experience ever with physiotherapy/rehab. Was fortunate to have an amazing physiotherapist - Victoria Addison who works at Panther clinic in the northwest. Victoria I found both most knowledgeable and therapeutic in her "trade". Victoria was able to provide a full range of therapeutic interventions for me including assigning weekly exercises that I feel helped considerably in giving me what I feel is now a full recovery from this fracture.
