My daughter tore her ACL and meniscus in a lacrosse game in June of 2018 and had reconstructive surgery on... read moreMy daughter tore her ACL and meniscus in a lacrosse game in June of 2018 and had reconstructive surgery on August 30, 2018. We were directed to Travis Gaudet at Panther Physio by a friend, whose daughter dealt with the same injury and recovery.

From Day #1, Travis made sure my daughter understood exactly what had happened, what the reconstruction looked like and what the goal was for recovery. He stressed the importance of being diligent with exercises and not pushing too hard in the beginning. Travis instilled confidence in my daughter to work through the stiffness in her knee and she began to see results quickly.

Throughout the course of rehabilitation, Travis was in contact with my daughter’s strength trainer, as well as her surgeon, and together they created an individualized program for us to follow. This communication was invaluable, as we knew everyone had the same goals and could adjust her exercises over the course of recovery.

Travis is so clearly committed to his clients and provides a level of care that we have not found anywhere else. I have recommended him to many people since my daughter started her rehabilitation and I will continue to do so.

On a side note, after just over a year post-surgery, my daughter is back playing the sports she loves and is stronger than ever. read less

Dannielle helped me book my first appointment and she was very patient and helpful as I fumbled over the given paperwork a bit, but was happy to help and explain where I needed. When I came in for my appointment, she was able to direct bill right away and made it so easy; all I had to do was give my card details and the rest was taken care of!

I booked in with Erin and she was so kind and considerate. I ended up having to change the parts of my body we were working on last minute (and I mean, super last minute - during appointment time) and she was more than happy to do this for me. It was so refreshing to feel like I was being heard and understood with what I needed, and the issues I was having. I had to have a fifteen minute treatment done and although she was busy helping patients in-between, she never failed to check in on me and make sure I was still doing okay! I also received an email of my treatment plan which is beyond awesome to have to make sure I am doing what I need to do, to help Erin help me.

I called to book for a follow up appointment and Marlee was so helpful and sweet. She was also so patient with me while I deep dove in to my busy calendar and although I only called to book one appointment, she offered to book me in for the month instead which made my life so much easier to plan around, especially being Christmas season!

All that aside, the clinic was very clean, welcoming, and calm. My appointment was on time, all staff was efficient in helping others and myself in a timely yet effective manner. Lots of free parking and easy directions to the clinic itself within the building - stairs and an elevator to get to the clinic; easily accessible for those with mobility issues/disabilities. read less

I have had low back pain for 15 years and had resigned myself to this being an on-going issue for me. I had never tried physio but had been using chiro and massage therapy to manage my flare ups.

When I arrived at Panther, they were welcoming and accommodating immediately. Michael Azzopardi was the therapist I met, and for the first time in those 15 years, I had someone who was interested in helping me find the solution to my back pain, not just dealing with the flare ups.

Mike was always thoughtful and caring at every appointment. He took the time to LISTEN to me each time we met, I never felt rushed or that I was not his priority. He met with me twice a week while my pain was acute and gave me the homework/stretches that I needed to do in order solve the root problem. After working with Mike for several weeks my pain was gone and I was discharged with a plan for the future.

6 months after my last physio appointment with Mike, I was in a motor vehicle accident. I suffered from whiplash and immediately thought to see him in order to help me through the lingering pain. Again I was not disappointed and he helped me to understand the condition and to recover fully. read less

Additionally, his adeptness in dealing with insurance companies and lawyers is commendable. Brittany is also truly exceptional. Took the pain level for 9 down to 3 in my 7 sessions. I returned about 2 months later and requested Laurie, after a total knee replacement.

Laurie, once again, worked me for my 1st 3 session, to get my knee more flexable and mobile. Went for a 55° bend to.a 90° bend over 3 weeks. Then she needed a break from me.. private joke, and Anup took over from Laurie. He worked me like Laurie, and after the othet 4 sessions, 130° bend and a full 360° on a bicyle, with no pain!!

I highly recommend that if you want excellent physiotherapy, highly competent Physiotherapist, assistants and professional front of house staff, then this is the place for you!! Great equipment too. read less
