He stressed the importance of being diligent with exercises and not pushing too hard in the beginning. Travis instilled confidence in my daughter to work through the stiffness in her knee and she began to see results quickly.

Throughout the course of rehabilitation, Travis was in contact with my daughter’s strength trainer, as well as her surgeon, and together they created an individualized program for us to follow. This communication was invaluable, as we knew everyone had the same goals and could adjust her exercises over the course of recovery.

I visited this facility in January 2018, traveling from the USA, training in boxing and wrestling with badly aching shoulders. I was seen expeditiously quick, and in my first session diagnosed with shoulder impingement and given exercises and treatment to assist me. I have been to MANY physical therapy-type establishments in my lifetime, and this place was head and shoulders the best one I have ever been to, and that's across multiple countries! I deeply apologize for not writing this sooner, as life happens, but I had to share my experience, no matter how delayed!

While here (and what I recall/stands out the most to me in retrospect) I was treated by the staff with positivity and care, an intellectual and concise approach to both my problem and solution, and a feeling of genuine support that I needed while rehabilitating my injuries. Truly at the time it felt like a light at the end of a tunnel, in a country that was not my own, and I could not have felt more welcome or at home. Thank you Panther Sports for this experience!! The success of my surgery wouldn’t have been the same without the rehab guidance and treatments I’ve received from Travis Gaudet. Travis works to educate his clients such that they are empowered to safely work on their rehabilitation at home. He is quick to identify areas of concern in the clinic and adapt the protocol where necessary. He takes the time to explain the latest in research for injury rehab to instill confidence in his patients.

Even during COVID-19 when clinics were closed, I was able to check in with Travis through virtual appointments to continue moving my rehab process along. I was surprised at how much could be accomplished through a virtual apt; and this is credited to his eye for detail and communication skills.

Eventually, I attended a clinic in downtown close to my work that has physiotherapy. Unfortunately the person working there told me I would have to rest for 4 to 6 weeks while they apply ultrasound to my shoulder.

I had been out of the gym for two months already, so I was determined to get a second opinion that could potentially expedite the process. I was lucky enough to end up at Panther Sport Medicine where I had the privilege of receiving treatment from Kevin You.

When he had assessed my shoulder he did fantastic job of explaining what was wrong with it, and what we had to do to get it back to full strength. His methods of needling, heating, and then teaching me various exercises to strengthen my shoulder allowed me to heal and return to the gym that very week. It has been three weeks since my first appointment and my shoulder feels better than ever.

I have had low back pain for 15 years and had resigned myself to this being an on-going issue for me. I had never tried physio but had been using chiro and massage therapy to manage my flare ups.

When I arrived at Panther, they were welcoming and accommodating immediately. Michael Azzopardi was the therapist I met, and for the first time in those 15 years, I had someone who was interested in helping me find the solution to my back pain, not just dealing with the flare ups.

Mike was always thoughtful and caring at every appointment. He took the time to LISTEN to me each time we met, I never felt rushed or that I was not his priority. He met with me twice a week while my pain was acute and gave me the homework/stretches that I needed to do in order solve the root problem. After working with Mike for several weeks my pain was gone and I was discharged with a plan for the future.

6 months after my last physio appointment with Mike, I was in a motor vehicle accident. I suffered from whiplash and immediately thought to see him in order to help me through the lingering pain. Again I was not disappointed and he helped me to understand the condition and to recover fully. read less
