On the first visit she was very impressive: she was able to explain the specific muscles and processes that would facilitate healing, as well as how they intersected.

A lot of phyios talk like they know their stuff, but her knowledge really is ingrained and accurate. I fact-checked her after my first session when I got home, and she was bang-on. Impressive considering that my injury is not a particularly common one.

Her treatments are expeditious and focused on my needs. She provides hands-on instruction for exercises and feedback on progress. She is prioritizing treatment to help me return to sport and is responsive to my input and symptoms.

The facility itself is the typical physio office: curtains separating beds. It's clean and in good repair. My experience with the support staff has also been positive.

Overall, I am very impressed with my experience so far at Panther and with Jenna in particular. read less

We were directed to Travis Gaudet at Panther Physio by a friend, whose daughter dealt with the same injury and recovery.

From Day #1, Travis made sure my daughter understood exactly what had happened, what the reconstruction looked like and what the goal was for recovery. He stressed the importance of being diligent with exercises and not pushing too hard in the beginning. Travis instilled confidence in my daughter to work through the stiffness in her knee and she began to see results quickly.

Throughout the course of rehabilitation, Travis was in contact with my daughter’s strength trainer, as well as her surgeon, and together they created an individualized program for us to follow. This communication was invaluable, as we knew everyone had the same goals and could adjust her exercises over the course of recovery.

Travis is so clearly committed to his clients and provides a level of care that we have not found anywhere else. I have recommended him to many people since my daughter started her rehabilitation and I will continue to do so.

On a side note, after just over a year post-surgery, my daughter is back playing the sports she loves and is stronger than ever. read less

I will follow Darcy and his team as he provides exceptional treatment, support and leadership. I went from barely able to function, extreme pain and miserable in 2009 with a previous physio treating me to transferring under Darcy’s care in late 2014 and finally receiving relief and recovery in my healing by him and his hands. I am beyond grateful to him and his team. Not only are they incredibly knowledgeable, extremely educated and effective in their treatment, they actually CARE about their patients and ensure you are getting the most effective treatments and proper support at all times from all doctors and treatment providers. I cannot recommend Panther Seton enough. They are treating me currently for a severe TBI, WAD 3, Spinal, Neurological Injury and my 2 year old toddler who was also in the accident. I can say that from where I am today with the hip I wouldn’t be nearly as far without the help with my physiotherapist and my wife. They both encouraged me to keep on trucking and fight through pain and my limitations.
I am almost able to walk without aids.
I am still trying to rebuild my left side as it is as flat as Hank Hills you know what, as the muscle is much smaller and weaker than my right.

His treatment plans worked so well. Not only did he help me recover from my concussion but he also gave me some great take home exercises to deal with the pain in my neck. If I had waited to schedule physio with Darcy after my knee accident, I would have caused much more damage to my knee. Darcy immediately knew how to treat my knee (and the plan was counterintuitive to me at the time because I don't have the physiology knowledge that he does). He was a great resource- he helped me navigate the hurdles to achieving timely medical and surgical care. His physio plans are clear, and he takes the time to explain each exercise/stretch. My husband had a knee reconstruction nearly 20 years ago, and Darcy helped him achieve full stability and mobility with his post-op physio regimen (this is why I knew I wanted to see Darcy when I hurt myself). He and my son have both visited Darcy for occasional injuries since then. The entire team at Panther Sports Medicine Seton has been great to deal with. Took the pain level for 9 down to 3 in my 7 sessions. I returned about 2 months later and requested Laurie, after a total knee replacement.

Laurie, once again, worked me for my 1st 3 session, to get my knee more flexable and mobile. Went for a 55° bend to.a 90° bend over 3 weeks. Then she needed a break from me.. private joke, and Anup took over from Laurie. He worked me like Laurie, and after the othet 4 sessions, 130° bend and a full 360° on a bicyle, with no pain!!

I highly recommend that if you want excellent physiotherapy, highly competent Physiotherapist, assistants and professional front of house staff, then this is the place for you!! Great equipment too. read less
