We were directed to Travis Gaudet at Panther Physio by a friend, whose daughter dealt with the same injury and recovery.

From Day #1, Travis made sure my daughter understood exactly what had happened, what the reconstruction looked like and what the goal was for recovery. He stressed the importance of being diligent with exercises and not pushing too hard in the beginning. Travis instilled confidence in my daughter to work through the stiffness in her knee and she began to see results quickly.

Throughout the course of rehabilitation, Travis was in contact with my daughter’s strength trainer, as well as her surgeon, and together they created an individualized program for us to follow. This communication was invaluable, as we knew everyone had the same goals and could adjust her exercises over the course of recovery.

Travis is so clearly committed to his clients and provides a level of care that we have not found anywhere else. I have recommended him to many people since my daughter started her rehabilitation and I will continue to do so.

On a side note, after just over a year post-surgery, my daughter is back playing the sports she loves and is stronger than ever. read less

My wife and I have been attending Panther Country hills since well before Christmas. We can't speak highly enough of the Physiotherapists. The treatment and advice we have both received has been absolutely fantastic. I would highly recommend Panther to anyone requiring physio. Beware the front desk clerks though, most of them are quite unpleasant, snarky and full of "tude' the moment you walk in the door. One is very nice, but the rest are unnecessarily rude, to the point where my wife and I will just politely wait until the nice one is available. If you don't mind a snarky reception and can overlook the "tude" then the Physiotherapists are excellent and will fix you up. read less

Had a right knee Patella injury from work. When I first arrived at Panther I could barely walk the stairs into the lobby, when I left I was pain free. As a former professional basketball player, I knew this injury was going to be a difficult road back , to feel perfect. Mike dedicated the time and knowledge to push me to success. It wasn't the simple lay on your back and get the problem fixed. He redesigned my workouts, he broke down all my lift techniques and biomechanics and perfected them. A friend has been treated here and recommended to try it before I took that step. I went in for my assessment and IMMEDIATELY noticed a difference. Jared was very thorough and demonstrated his knowledge of spinal and neck problems and although I have a long way to go the progress in one session was huge; I could fully turn my neck for the first time in I don't even know how long and was able to sleep without pain! Not only that, but I was told that cortisone shots would have likely made the problem worse as the source of the issue is not in the area that my first physio thought. As we live In Mckenzie Towne we knee about Panther and decided to see what they could do to help us out. We had also been told by many people before going oh it's just growing pains it will go away. We met up with Michael Azzopardi and he went right to work on my son checking muscles to stance to how he would throw a rock in curling. He knew right away some of the issues of not using all the muscles properly and needing to readjust how you use the lower body. We started out going twice a week with homework of stretches to be done each day numerous times. Each visit was a new thing to do and work on and each time the pain was less and less. After awhile we were told to show up just once a week and then once in 2 weeks. Our last visit my son told him no more pain and we were discharged. All this was completed within roughly two months. I like the fact that they didn't say oh you should keep coming to see me, they were good that once the paid was gone they left us with all the stretches to stay on the right path and said if ever an issue to call or stop by and they would help out. So the whole experience with the team that works at this location was great and Michael was very good to deal with. So if your son/daughter loves sports and is having pain don't go with the "It's just Growing Pains" excuse, bring them here and you will keep them enjoying their favorite sports or activities. Not only is Darcy the greatest physio ever (in mine and many others humble opinion,) but his staff are phenomenal at every Panther location.
